Description
Court Leys Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in 1769. It features coursed rubble ironstone and has a plain tiled roof with stone coped gables and stone gable stacks with coping. The building is designed in a T shape with a service block at the rear and stands two storeys high with a garret. The front has three bays with quoins. The central doorway has a stone surround, a moulded cornice, and a partially glazed 20th-century door. On either side of the door, there are single windows with stone surrounds, moulded cornices, and three-light wood mullion casements. Above, there are three windows: two three-light windows flank a two-light window over the door, all featuring stone surrounds and wood mullion casements. A datestone inscribed "T.C. 1769" is located above the door.
