Description
Eades Bakery is an early to mid 19th century bakery, shop, and house located on East Street in Kimbolton. The building has two storeys, with a taller section over a cartway on the southeast side. There are two rear wings: one to the northwest, which is a remnant of a timber-framed building, and the bakehouse to the northeast. The structure is made of local gault brick arranged in a chequered pattern, topped with plain tile roofs and featuring a stack on the northwest side. The first floor has three horizontal sliding sash windows with glazing bars, one of which is set in a segmental arch. The original house door is present, along with a shop door that is flanked by two shop windows, all featuring a common architrave with plain pilasters and a frieze.
