Description

Dial House is a 17th century timber-framed house located on East Street in Kimbolton. It has two storeys and is rendered with a steeply pitched plain tile roof that features a stack on the south-east side. The house has a pargetted cornice adorned with relief motifs. On the first floor, there are two casement windows with glazing bars that flank a large wooden rectangular sundial, which has a painted face and gnomon, along with a pulvinated frieze and cornice. To the north-west, there is a two-storey range made of painted brick, also with a plain tile roof and a large ridge stack. This range includes two horizontal sliding sash windows, one of which is located at the ground floor and is set within a segmental arch.
