Description
The Half Moon Public House is a 17th-century inn located on East Street in Kimbolton. It features a timber-framed structure with a two-unit plan and a lobby entry. The building has been raised to two storeys and extended by one bay to the northwest in the early 19th century. The exterior is finished with roughcast render and painted brick, while the street-facing roof is covered with slate. The rear has paired gabled wings and an outshut, which are plain tiled and include some old ridge tiles. There are three horizontal sliding sash windows with glazing bars on the first floor and three similar recessed windows on the ground floor. Inside, the original building's exposed frame can be seen, along with altered inglenook hearths.
