House and shop. Early C17. Roughcast and colourwashed timber-frame. C20 brick west gable end. Plain tile roof. Front wing faces the road, with rear cross wing behind. Front of 2 storeys in 3 wide bays. C20 shopfront to left and a plank door to right of elevation. One sash with 2/2 glazing bars next to the shopfront and one 8/8 sash next to the plank door. Two 2-light and one 3-light early C19 casements to first floor. Gabled roof with central ridge stack. Rear wing converted from 3 houses into a bakery: C20 details. INTERIOR. Chamfered bridging beams to ground floor. Principal studs have jowled tops and frame is generally close studded. Winder stair to north of stack. Rear wing with roof structure of upper crucks, of which one pair is visible. Timber frame of main west gable intact behind C20 brick. Main roof of principals, taper-tenoned butt purlins and collars.
