Description
Nos. 18 and 19, known as Greystones, is a former house that has been converted into a pair of cottages. It dates from the 17th century and was altered in the mid-19th century. The building is constructed of coursed limestone rubble, featuring ashlar quoins and dressings. It has two stone gable stacks and one ridge stack, topped with a concrete tiled roof.
The structure follows a lobby entry plan and is a single storey with attics, presenting a five-bay front. The off-centre planked door is flanked by a single casement window on the left and three casement windows on the right. All openings are adorned with moulded stone hoods. The roof includes four gabled dormers, each fitted with two-light casements and rendered cheeks.
