Description

Nos 239 and 240, known as Copsegreen, is a house that has been converted into two cottages. It is an L-shaped building, dated 1764, but likely has older elements hidden behind its facade. The front is made of Wealden sandstone with red brick dressings, quoins, and a stringcourse. The sides are constructed of red brick and tile-hung. It features a hipped tiled roof and casement windows. There is a brick chimney breast on the west wall. The building has two storeys and three windows, with a 19th-century red brick addition to the west.
