Description

Nos. 16 and 17 on Corby Road are a pair of cottages dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the mid-19th century. They are constructed from squared limestone rubble, featuring ashlar dressings, and have a pantile roof with overhanging eaves. The cottages have a single gable and an axial ridge stone stack. They are single storey with attics and present a five-bay front that includes two planked doors and three two-light plain casements. All openings are topped with moulded stone hoods. At the eaves level of the roof, there are three gabled dormers with ashlar cheeks.
