Description
No. 18 Halfleet is a former pair of cottages that has been converted into a house. It dates from the 17th century, with alterations made in the late 18th century and the 20th century. The building is constructed from coursed limestone rubble and features ashlar quoins. The roofs are made of Collyweston slate and pantiles, with one raised coped gable, a 19th-century red brick ridge stack, and a 19th-century brick gable stack.
The house is single storey with attics and has a five-bay front. This includes two planked doors that are sheltered by two 20th-century latticed porches, along with three glazing bar sash windows, all set beneath timber lintels. The roof features three gabled dormers, each with two-light casements that have rendered cheeks.
