TF 04 NW SOUTH RAUCEBY MAIN STREET (South side)

House, now 2 cottages. C17 with C18, C19 and C20 additions. Coursed limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings, steeply pitched pantile roof with single gable stone and ridge brick stacks. 2 storey plus garret irregular 4 bay front to road has a single storey lean to containing a 3 light mullioned window. To left is a 2 light mullioned window and to right a tall C14 style 2 light traceried window and a plain planked door in flat headed surround. To first floor are 2 two light mullioned windows and to left a small C20 casement. Beyond to the right is a lower 2 bay wing with C20 flat roofed front extension containing a garage door and above 2 casements. The right hand gable has a 4 light mullioned window to ground floor, a three light similar first floor window and in the garret a 3 light horizontally sliding sash in C17 surround with cornice. The rear has C19 casements in cambered arched openings now partly covered by a C20 conservatory. 2 small gabled dormers in the roof.
