Description
The Bustard Inn is an inn built in 1860, constructed from coursed squared limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings. It features slate roofs with raised stone coped gables and moulded kneelers. The building has a single ridge and wall stacks, with three and two octagonal funnels that have billet moulded capitals. The layout is an asymmetrical cross plan.
An advanced gabled bay includes a tall three-light mullioned window on the ground floor and a matching two-light window above, both featuring chamfered mullions and moulded cornices. The gable displays a sunk quatrefoil that indicates the date 1860. To the right, there is a porch with a pyramidal roof that contains a nine-panelled door with a glazed top, set in a pointed and chamfered surround. Additionally, a small oriel window with cross mullioned glazing bar casement and an embattled parapet with a gable is located on the right side of the building.
