Description

Holly Lodge is a house dating to circa 1700, with alterations from the 19th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings, and has a pantile roof with stone-coped gables. The house is two storeys high with garrets, and features a first-floor band. The front has four bays, with a centrally placed 19th-century six-panelled door protected by a wooden doorcase with a flat roof and a traceried fanlight above. All windows are glazing bar sashes with rendered wooden lintels. Single circular windows illuminate the garrets in the gables. The interior includes three beams with shield-shaped stops.
