Description

East Corner Antiques is a shop located at No. 130 West Street in Alford. It dates from the late 18th century, with some alterations made in the early 19th century. The building is constructed of red brick and rendered, topped with a hipped concrete tiled roof. It is two stories high and has a three-bay front featuring a dentillated eaves course.

The central entrance consists of a half-glazed panelled door with wooden reveals and a plain overlight. On either side of the door are single early 19th-century rectangular shop bay windows that have fine glazing bars and are topped with a timber cornice. On the first floor, to the left, there is a large bordered glazing bar sash window, and to the right, a smaller glazing bar sash window, both with cambered heads.
