Description
No. 71 High Street is a shop built in the early 19th century, with later alterations. It is constructed of red brick and features a black-glazed pantile roof and brick stacks. The exterior has a two-storey, two-window front. The full-width early 19th-century shop front includes two bowed display windows flanking a central door, with the original glazing bars removed and replaced by four vertical stiles. There is a deep fascia board beneath a blind box. On the first floor, there are two horned sash windows with a 2/2 configuration, flush frames, and gauged skewback arches. The building also has a dentil eaves cornice. The interior has not been inspected.
