Description

No. 2 East Street is a house with a shop, dating from the early 19th century and altered in the late 19th century. The shop front was updated in the early 20th century. The building is constructed of rendered brick and has a pantile roof with a rebuilt ridge stack.

The exterior features a three-storey, one-window front. The shop front includes a half-glazed door and a two-light display window that has a blind box on the ground floor. There is a canted bay window on the first floor with 0/0 and 2/2 horned sashes, while the second floor has one 8/8 unhorned sash. The building is topped with a high parapet. The interior has not been inspected.
