Description
No. 91 St Mary Street is a house with a shop, dating from the early 19th century. It features painted brickwork and a slate roof. The building stands three storeys high and has two windows, all of which are glazing-bar sashes. The first and second floors have a 12-pane sash and a tripartite sash with an unusual configuration of 4:20:4 panes, set in plain reveals with flush stone lintels and resting on stone sills. The ground floor has a full-width shop front that was added in the late 20th century. The roof has plain gabled eaves and a stack located to the right. The property is surrounded by later buildings and reflects an earlier phase of development in St Mary Street, consistent with other early 19th-century properties in the area.
