Description
No. 25 High Street is a house that has been converted into a house and shop, dating from the early 19th century. It features a slate roof and a timber moulded eaves cornice, with brick walls that have rubbed flat arches over the first-floor windows. The building stands three storeys tall. On the second floor, there are two glazing bar sash windows flanking a central blank space. The first floor has two casement windows to the left and a glazing bar sash window to the right. The shop front from the 19th century includes a projecting timber fascia and cornice above a panelled door leading to an alley on the left, with two slightly bowed bays flanking central 20th-century glazed doors that have a rectangular fanlight and reeded pilasters.
