Description

No. 19 High Street is a house that has been converted into offices. It dates from the 18th century but features a 20th-century front. The building has a slate roof and a modillion eaves cornice. Its red brick front is accented with stone moulded architraves and channelled quoins, along with a band at the first floor and at the top of the plinth. The structure is three storeys high and includes three glazing bar sash windows. The central door is set beneath a stone portico supported by two Doric columns and pilasters, with a frieze that features a triglyphe and a moulded cornice. Inside, there is 18th-century panelling and a staircase leading to the hall and ground floor rooms.
