Description
Nos. 109 and 110 on High Street is a house that now serves as a house, office, and shop. It dates back to the 17th century and was refronted in the mid-18th century. The building features a steep hipped tiled roof with three pedimented dormers. Its brick walls are topped with a high panelled parapet, which has flat bands at the base and first floor, along with moulded stone coping and stone ball finials at the ends. The structure has two storeys and an attic, with three glazing bar sash windows, the center one being narrower. There is a 20th-century shop front to the left on the ground floor, a central door beneath a flat hood supported by cut brackets, a plain window to the right of the ground floor, and a door to the far right. Inside, there is 18th-century panelling in the ground floor room on the left side of the hall.
