Description

No. 193 Brandy Lane is a house and shop located in a row, dating from the early 19th century. The building is rendered and features a slate roof. It stands three storeys high and has two windows. The first and second floors are adorned with large 16-pane sash windows above a plate-glass shop front, which includes a central pair of glazed doors topped with a transom light. To the left of the shop front is a 19th-century panelled door, also under a transom light, all framed by a 19th-century pilaster surround with a plain fascia. There are brick stacks at each gable. The building is set back from the existing street line. The interior has not been inspected. This property is included for its group value with other nearby buildings.
