Description

No. 18 Bailgate is a house that has been converted into a house and shop. It dates from the early 19th century and is constructed of brick with a pantile roof and a single gable stack. The building has three storeys and two bays. The windows feature painted stucco lintels with keystones. The shopfront, which is a 20th-century addition, has pilasters and a central glazed door flanked by single windows. To the left, there is a blocked round-headed doorway that contains a showcase. Above the shopfront, there are two glazing bar sashes, and above those, two smaller sashes. The interior has not been inspected.
