Description
Gordon House is an early 19th-century house located on East Street in Southwold. It is constructed of red brick and features a bell-based roof made of black-glazed pantiles, with a brick stack at the left end.
The exterior consists of a two-storey front with three windows. A five-panelled door, which has the upper two panels glazed, is positioned to the right of the elevation. This door is framed by a doorcase that includes fluted pilasters against a rusticated background, a plain frieze, and a hood supported by carved female head consoles. To the left of the door, there are two renewed 6/6 unhorned sash windows, each set under gauged skewback arches. The first floor has three similar sash windows.
The interior has not been inspected.
