Description
Angelenes Pantry is a shop located on the north side of High Street in Alford. It dates from the early 18th century and has been altered in the 19th and 20th centuries. The building is rendered with stucco quoins and features a steeply hipped slate roof with a single ridge brick stack. It stands two stories tall with an attic and has a single bay front. The central entrance consists of a half-glazed door flanked by two light shop windows, all beneath a deep fascia supported by side pilasters and fluted brackets. On the first floor, there is a single plain sash window with a deep architrave. The roof includes a flat-roofed dormer. To the right side of the front is a possibly repositioned 18th-century doorcase with a flat moulded hood. The building is included for its group value only.
