Description

This is a cottage, likely with a core dating back to the 17th century, although it has undergone alterations. The exterior is painted render over what may have been a timber frame, sitting on a plinth and topped with a thatched roof. It has a three-unit plan with one bay to the right of the doorway, which features an architrave with consoles supporting a flat canopy. Modern windows occupy the ground floor, with two to the left of the doorway and an inserted garage door to the left. Three eyebrow dormers are located above, each containing a two-light, horizontally sliding sash window. Gable and axial stacks are present. The roof slopes down over the left-hand bay, which incorporates the garage doors, suggesting that this bay is a modern addition. The building is included on the list for its group value.
