Description

No. 59 High Street is an early 19th-century house constructed of brick, topped with a Swithland slate roof. The building stands two stories tall and features four bays. The central gable is pedimented and includes a four-light sash window on the left and a doorway on the right. The doorway has a six-panelled door with a radial fanlight, which is set beneath an open pediment supported by reeded shafts. All the windows in the house are four-light sashes with gauged brick heads. The exterior also includes a wood parapet and brick sill bands, along with gable stacks.
