Description

No. 58 on High Street is a house built in the late 18th century. It is constructed of brick and features a Swithland slate roof. The building is two stories high and has three bays, presenting a symmetrical facade. The central doorway is adorned with a six-panelled door and an overlight, set within an ornate door case supported by clustered shafts and consoles that hold up a flat canopy. There is dentilled and incised decoration surrounding the overlight. The windows are 16-light sashes, framed by broad wood architraves and brick arched heads that have no splay. The house has gable end stacks.
