Description

No. 2 Brook Street is a small house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick on a plinth and features a Swithland slate roof. The house is two stories high and has a two-unit plan, with a central door set in a tall opening. This door is topped by an overlight and framed by a moulded wood architrave, supported by consoles that hold a flat canopy. The windows are 16-light sashes, with those on the ground floor featuring cambered brick arched heads. There are gable end stacks.
