Description

This milepost, located on the north side of Otley Road in Bramhope, dates from the late 19th century. It is made of sandstone and features cast-iron facing plates. The milepost has a triangular shape and stands approximately 1 metre high. It has a flat-faced, semi-circular head with chamfered sides, displaying raised lettering that reads: "LONDON 193½ MILES LEEDS OTLEY 7 3½ MILES."
