Description

Manor House is a house from the mid-18th century that has been altered. It is built of coursed squared sandstone with quoins and has a stone slate roof. The house has a large double-depth plan and is two storeys high with three bays, which were originally symmetrical. The central doorway features a pedimented Georgian-style surround. To the left, there is a large modern rectangular bay window, and to the right, a 3-light window with flat-faced flush mullions and a plain surround, flanked by modern louvred pseudo-shutters. On the first floor, there are two similar windows and a single-light window between them, all of which have small panes and top-hung casements in the centre lights. The house also has moulded gutter brackets, large corniced gable chimneys, and gable copings with kneelers. Most of the rear windows have been altered. The interior has not been inspected.
