Description

BRAMHOPE MANOR CLOSE SE 24 SW LS 16 (north side) 5/104 Manor House - - II

House. Mid C18, altered. Coursed squared sandstone with quoins, stone slate roof. Large double-depth plan. Two storeys and 3 bays, formerly symmetrical; central doorway with pedimented Georgian-style surround, a large modern rectangular bay window to the left, a 3-light window to the right with flat-faced flush mullions and plain surround, flanked by modern louvred pseudo-shutters, 2 similar windows at 1st floor and a single-light window between these; and all these mullioned windows with small panes, and top-hung casements in the centre lights. Moulded gutter brackets; large corniced gable chimneys, and gable copings with kneelers. Rear windows mostly altered. Interior not inspected.
