Description
This is a late 17th-century farmhouse, subsequently altered and now used as an office and flat. It is constructed of coursed squared sandstone with quoins, and has a stone slate roof. The building has a single-depth, two-unit plan. The two-storey, two-bay front has a continuous drip mould. A doorway is located at the right-hand end, with a stop-chamfered surround. There are two windows on each floor; the window to the left of the door was replaced with a 19th-century shop window, while the others are recessed with double-chamfered surrounds and chamfered mullions, but lacking the first and third mullions. The ground-floor window on the left has been replaced with a flat-faced mullion. Gable chimneys and gable copings with kneelers are present. A small recessed window is visible on each floor of the left gable wall. A parallel range added to the rear is not part of the listed building. The interior has reportedly been altered.
