Description

CAMBORNE BASSET ROAD SW 63 NW (west side) 10/17 No.28 GV II House. Mid to later C19, altered. Coursed squared sandstone with granite quoins and dressings, slurried slate roof. Double-depth centre block with set-back wings. Two storeys and 3 bays, with one-bay wings; symmetrical; doorway has pilastered architrave with a small cornice on consoles, panelled splayed reveal and panelled door with overlight; 12-pane sashed windows with quoined surrounds; left wing has similar window at 1st floor, doorway at ground floor; right wing is single storeyed and extended. Hipped roof with projecting eaves, one chimney behind ridge. Rear: 2-storey canted bay, round-headed stairwindow. Interior not inspected.
