Description
Church House is a house from the mid-18th century that has undergone some alterations in the mid-20th century. It is built of coursed squared gritstone and has a graduated stone slate roof. The house is two storeys high and has two bays, with a two-storey, two-bay addition on the right side. The building features quoins, and the main block has a central doorway that has been changed into a window. The jambs of this doorway are made of a narrow single block topped with a quoin beneath a plain lintel. There are three-light flat-faced mullion windows, with the one on the right altered to serve as a doorway. The bay on the right has 20th-century windows. The house has shaped kneelers, gable copings, and end stacks on both the original house and the far right. The interior has not been inspected.
