Description

The Church of St Saviour is a church built in 1810 and refurbished around 1893. It is constructed from coursed squared gritstone and features a graduated stone slate roof. The church has a three-bay nave and chancel, along with a west porch. There are two-light Y-traceried windows, with three on the south side, two on the north, and one on the east. The west end includes three two-light windows in the gable above the porch, which has a double door made of boards. There is a projecting band at the eaves level, a semicircular recess above the porch, and a gabled bellcote. The gable copings are also notable. Inside, the roof is supported by six double queen strut trusses.
