Description

This mid-19th century milepost is located on the east corner of the junction with Breary Lane East. It is made of sandstone and has a rectangular shape, standing approximately half a metre high with a segmentally-rounded top. The face of the milepost features an inscription that reads: "M.F. BRAMHOPE CHURCH 4 POOL 1.1 OTLEY CHURCH 3.7 ABEL SCHOOL 2.2 LEEDS BRIDGE 7.4."
