Description
Numbers 23 and 25 are a pair of houses built in 1839, located on Lyddon Terrace in Leeds. They are constructed of red brick with a slate roof and feature wrought-iron railings. The houses are two storeys high with a basement and each has two first-floor windows and an entrance on the left side. The entrances have stone steps with moulded treads leading to plain doors and three-panel doors with overlights, all set within stone surrounds that include pilasters, an entablature, and a cornice. The windows have stone sills, a continuous sill band on the first floor, and painted wedge lintels; the left side has four-pane sashes while the right side has restored glazing bars. A four-flue stack is positioned forward of the ridge, towards the centre and right. The interior has not been inspected. The attached railings feature plain handrails flanking the steps and rails with pointed ball finials surrounding the area.
