Description
Netherwood Farmhouse and Barn, dated 1785, is a two-storey building constructed in coursed rubble with a pitched stone slate roof and a gable stack. The east elevation of the farmhouse features a ground floor with one recessed six-light stone mullioned window with a King mullion and one recessed three-light stone mullioned window. On the first floor, there are two recessed three-light stone mullioned windows and one recessed four-light stone mullioned window. The southwest gable displays a datestone above the doorway, which reads: B H M H 1785. The barn's east elevation includes a large central doorway with a substantial lintel, stone surround, and tie-stones, as well as a smaller doorway with a large lintel and quoinstones, and large rough plinthstones.
