Description
No. 5 Bents Lane is an early to mid 19th-century house, part of a group of buildings. It is constructed from hammer-dressed stone and features a pitched stone slate roof. The house is two storeys tall.
On the east elevation, the ground floor has a doorway with a stone surround and a three-light stone mullioned window. The first floor contains a six-light stone mullioned window. To the south, there is a single-storey extension that has a blocked doorway with a stone surround and a three-light stone mullioned window.
The west elevation features a single light window on the ground floor and a two-light stone mullioned window on the first floor. The south extension includes a three-light stone mullioned window, although one light is blocked. On the north gable, there is a single-storey mono-pitch extension on the ground floor and a two-light stone mullioned window on the first floor, with one light also blocked.
