Description

Hey Leys is a building dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century, constructed from hammer-dressed stone with millstone grit quoins. It features a pitched stone slate roof with coped gables and moulded footstones. The building has two storeys. On the south elevation, the ground floor includes one five-light stone mullioned window and one three-light stone mullioned window, both of which have a continuous sill band, head, and double lintel above the openings. The first floor contains two four-light stone mullioned windows, with one light blocked in each window. The west and east gables have various stone extensions.
