Description
Green Lane Farmhouses and Barn is a late 18th-century group consisting of two houses and a barn, constructed from hammer-dressed stone with quoins and a pitched stone slate roof. The west house features a south elevation with a ground floor that has one six-light stone mullioned window and a first floor with one five-light stone mullioned window. The north elevation of this house includes one three-light stone mullioned window.
The east house has a south elevation with a ground floor that features a recessed six-light stone mullioned window with a king mullion and an entrance with a stone surround. The first floor has a recessed four-light stone mullioned window, of which one light is blocked, and another recessed three-light stone mullioned window.
The barn's south elevation is characterized by a large central doorway with a deep lintel and a small blocked doorway with quoins.
