Description

This is a late 18th to early 19th century house and barn, originally part of a terrace. The house is constructed of hammer-dressed stone, with quoins; the south elevation is rendered. It has a pitched stone slate roof and a coped gable to the south. The barn is also built with hammer-dressed stone and has a stone slate roof.

The east elevation of the house has a 6-light mullioned window on the ground floor and an 8-light mullioned window on the first floor, the latter featuring a large central King mullion and double lintel. A 2-light stone mullioned window is visible in the south gable of the house, also on the first floor. A single-storey lean-to extension, constructed in hammer-dressed stone with a stone slate roof, is attached to the west. The west elevation of the house also has a 2-light mullioned window on the first floor.

The east elevation of the barn features a large central doorway with a large lintel, stone surrounds, and tie-stones, above which is a small vent. Smaller doorways with stone surrounds are located on either side of the central doorway, and a single light, possibly of a later date, is also present.
