Description

No 2 Row is an 18th-century farm cottage that is part of a terrace. The building is constructed of rubble, with some areas rendered, and features a pitched stone slate roof. It stands two storeys tall.

On the south elevation, the ground floor includes a recessed 4-light stone mullioned window, although two of the mullions have been removed, a 2-light stone mullioned window, and a later 3-light stone mullioned window. The first floor has a 5-light stone mullioned window and a 3-light stone mullioned window, both with a continuous sill.

The east gable features a 3-light stone mullioned window on the first floor. The north elevation has various altered openings, including two doorways, one of which is a later addition. A string course on this side indicates where a former lean-to extension was located.
