It features a pitched stone slate roof, although the roof has been removed from the end cottage. The building is two storeys high.
On the south elevation of the east cottage, the ground floor has one recessed 4-light stone mullioned window and one recessed 3-light stone mullioned window. The first floor has one recessed 4-light stone mullioned window and one recessed 3-light stone mullioned window. The middle cottage has a ground floor with one 6-light stone mullioned window, where four lights are recessed and two lights are part of a former doorway with a large lintel. The first floor of this cottage has one 3-light stone mullioned window.
The barn features an entrance with stone surrounds and two later single lights. On the north elevation, the east cottage is currently being rebuilt. The middle cottage has a ground floor entrance with a stone surround and a recessed single light. The first floor has one 3-light stone mullioned window. The barn includes a large central doorway with a semicircular arched head and a former small doorway with a stone surround that is partially blocked.
On the east gable, the ground floor has an entrance with quoins and a datestone on a deep lintel that reads: I B S B 1757. There is also a late lean-to extension, and the first floor features one recessed 2-light stone mullioned window.
