Description
Number 2 and the two barns to the west are a late 18th-century cottage and two barns that form one range. The structure is built from coursed millstone grit and features quoins, topped with a pitched stone slate roof.
The south elevation has a ground floor that includes a door with a large lintel and tie-stones, alongside a 4-light stone mullioned window that is recessed. On the first floor, there is a 6-light stone mullioned window. The north elevation features a ground floor with a 2-light stone mullioned window and a first floor with a 6-light stone mullioned window, where three of the lights have chamfered mullions and surround.
The barns to the west each have a large central doorway with a segmented arched head, and one has a semicircular arched head with a small light above it. Additionally, each barn has a small doorway with a stone surround.
