Description
A late 18th-century house and barn. The building is constructed of hammer-dressed stone and coursed rubble, with quoins, and has a pitched stone slate roof, partially covered with bitumen. Moulded footstones are present, along with two chimney stacks. The south elevation has, on the ground floor, a doorway with stone surrounds and chamfered reveals, alongside a two-light stone mullioned window and a four-light stone mullioned window. The first floor features a four-light and a three-light stone mullioned window. The west gable shows two two-light stone mullioned windows. The barn’s south elevation includes an entrance with a large lintel supported by large corbels, quoins, a prominent plinth, and a small entrance with a large lintel, stone surrounds, and tie-stones. The north elevation of the barn reveals two openings.
