Description

Ollerbrook Farmhouse is a farmhouse dated 1770, constructed from coursed rubble gritstone with gritstone dressings. It features stone slate roofs, stone gable end stacks, and one ridge stack. The gables are stone coped with moulded kneelers, and the building has angle quoins. It is two storeys tall and has a double range plan.

The south elevation consists of three bays, with a fourth bay set back to the east. The central doorway has a moulded architrave with a keystone and a stone pediment supported by brackets. There is a 19th-century panelled door with a glazed top part. On either side of the doorway, there are three-light square section flush mullion windows. The first floor features a central two-light square section flush mullion window, flanked by similar three-light windows. All windows have glazing bar sashes and fixed lights. The right-hand bay is set back and has a three-light square section flush mullion window on the first floor, which includes diamond lights. A rainwater head on the building is dated 1770. The north elevation has four three-light windows. The farmhouse is also reported to have a good staircase.
