Description
Manor House Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse that has been altered. It features rendered walls and a stone slate roof with gable stacks, one of which is made of ashlar and has a cornice. The building has two storeys and an L-shaped plan, with the smaller rear section having a separately pitched roof. The openings are obscured by the render, but there is a central doorway that has been altered, flanked by five-light windows under a drip mould. On the first floor, there are four double-chamfered 2-light windows and a small window to the right. A projecting stack is located on the left gable wall at the upper level, while a massive extruded stack is found on the right gable of the rear section. Adjoining this is a small lean-to that contains a stone seat and an inner door with a chamfered surround and a cambered head. The interior has not been inspected.
