29.3.65 Manor House Farmhouse

Farmhouse. C17. Altered. Rendered walls. Stone slate roof. Gable stacks, that to right, ashlar with cornice. Two storeys. L-shaped plan, the part at rear smaller and with separately pitched roof. Openings obscured by the render. Central doorway, altered, with 5-light window to each side all under drip mould. Four 2-light windows to 1st floor. All double chamfered. Small window to 1st floor right. Projecting stack on left gable wall at upper level. Massive extruded stack to right gable of rear part adjoining which is small lean-to containing a stone seat and an inner door with chamfered surround and cambered head.
