Description
Gunthwaite Gate Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse constructed of coursed rubble with a stone slate roof. It stands two storeys high and features three bays, with quoins on the right side. The entrance is located between the second and third bays, framed by a quoined surround and a deep lintel. The first, second, and third bays have flat-faced recessed mullion windows with three, four, and three lights, respectively. The gable copings are chamfered and sit on moulded kneelers. There are two stone stacks on the roof. At the rear, there are 20th-century windows that are in keeping with the style of the building. The right side has a single-storey addition that was added later.
