Description
Middle Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse that has undergone some later alterations. It is constructed of coursed rubble and features a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and two first-floor windows, with quoins marking the corners. The central entrance consists of a part-glazed door with an overlight, framed by an ashlar surround that includes a cornice. The sash windows, which have glazing bars, are set in flush ashlar surrounds. The roof has shaped kneelers and ashlar coping, and there are corniced ashlar stacks at both ends. To the right, there is a 19th-century addition that is set back and also features quoins. This addition has a glazed door in an ashlar surround with a cornice, and a corniced ashlar stack at the right end.
