Description

Arkleside Bridge is a bridge dated 1811, constructed of rubble. It features a single segmental arch with a soffit made of dressed stone. The bridge has a dripmould and rounded sections on the coping of the parapets. The date is inscribed on a stone located on the inner side of the upstream parapet.
