Description
This is a house located at 1 Brumfitt Hill, dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed from rubble that has been brought to course, with dressed quoins and a stone slate roof. The building is two storeys high and consists of a single cell, with a small two-storey wing added to the rear. The doorway features composite jambs and a broad chamfered surround. There are three-light flat-faced mullion windows on each floor, which retain small glazed panes in the outer lights. A gable stack is positioned to the right. On the right-hand return, there is a former taking-in door to the first floor, which is now blocked, located to the left of a square four-paned sashed window with plain stone surrounds. The rear wing also has a gable stack.
